Located just 10 minutes from downtown Nashville, each of our houses have 4 to 6 bedrooms and 2 or 3 bathrooms and are a place for residents to call home. All houses are within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants and bus stops making access to Nashville easy for those without transportation.
Daily meditation, weekly groups, and house meetings are all part of the experience. We believe that this helps build a solid foundation for those in just starting out or those farther along in their recovery. House Managers live on site to provide support to all residents. They help lead house meetings, act as a liaison to upper Footprints Staff, and serve as role models of recovery within their respective houses.
All Footprints residents participate in a monthly community meeting where they get the opportunity to have fellowship, watch other residents graduate our program, and receive recovery coins to celebrate their milestones in recovery! This is a great way for them to see the successes of others and offers encouragement.
Footprints currently has 5 Women's, 1 Women & Children's, 2 Women's Step-up, and 2 Men's Houses.
Housing at Footprints

Women's Houses: These houses are for women within their first 6 months of recovery at FTR. Residents follow Tier 1 & 2 guidelines and prepare to transition to Tier 3. Tier 3 is for residents who have been at FTR for 90 days. The residents follow Tier 3 guidelines and begin to learn how to be more self-sufficient.

Women & Children: Residents who have full custody of their kids or are working towards getting their children back and are ready to integrate recovery and motherhood. They follow a structured program filled with therapy, classes and meetings.

Step-up Houses: Residents who have completed the full 6 months at FTR who are ready to live more independently. These residents follow step-up guidelines.
Women's Housing

We currently have two men's houses. Our men's residences are located in south Nashville. They are a quick walk to bus stops, gas stations, banks, grocery and convenience stores. The men participate in weekly groups, and house meetings. They must maintain a program of recovery while receiving structure and support. They participate in our Community meetings once a month and attend recovery based meetings.
